July 6th, 2020 | By SentriForce

At approximately 7:39 P.M., unauthorized activity was detected and heavy machinery was observed driving into camera view and around the property.

The operator was then spotted attempting to move another heavy machinery to gain access to the storage container it was blocking.

SentriForce Central Station dispatchers quickly engaged audible alarms and the individual exited the machinery and walked out of camera view.

The site’s superintendent was reached and made aware of the activity that occurred and law enforcement was dispatched to the site.

There is a couple of things to note here:

  1. The suspect obviously knows there is something valuable inside that storage box.
The suspect was also able to operate the vehicle with easy… Something strange is going here but  can’t put my finger on it.
  2. This construction site used good practice to protect and reduce risk of expensive tools and materials. Valuable items were hidden and stored in the storage container then blocked by heavy machinery.
  3. This construction site established strong protection measures. Not only did they have high-grade fencing with privacy screens with very limited access points, they employed a managed video surveillance service solution.
