SentriForce on Duty
At approximately 2:00 AM, Central Station detected activity at the gate of a monitored construction project.
Central Station quickly observed and determined that the individuals were unauthorized to be there and engaged audible alarms.
Upon hearing the alarms, the individuals immediately scattered and left the premises of the construction jobsite. A prime example of deterrence and intervention.
Construction sites are often easy targets for criminals, but not when the jobsite has managed video surveillance services and SentriForce is on duty.
SentriForce video surveillance systems for construction jobsites have live video monitoring, which means there are REAL people, in-house and licensed professional surveillance personnel, actively focused on your construction site to reduce loss, mitigate risk, deter potential threats, and intervene with criminals by dispatching local law enforcements if necessary.
If your construction jobsite falls victim to theft and vandalism, you can experience financial pains, delays in project completion and diminishing returns.
It is important to have proper security measures in place to avoid such strains.
Video surveillance is a major component of an overall plan to optimize the security outcome on your project
Other important security measures to consider:
-
- Perimeter Defense – temporary fencing and gates to keep potential criminals and pedestrians out.
- Securing your equipment and storing your materials – keeping your valuable assets and construction materials out of sight is crucial, as it can entice criminals from its visual presence.
- Construction Lighting – an unilluminated construction site is inviting for criminals as it makes it harder for others to visually detect their presence. A well-lit construction site is an effective deterrent against criminals who prefer to work in the dark.
