The red sedan arrives at the gate as it is in the process of closing.
The driver seems unaware of the gates location and attempts to exit, only to collide with the gate with the front fender of the vehicle.
The impact was hard enough to fracture and shatter a part of the brick pillar where the gate hinge was installed to.
The repair costs for the gate from this incident is easily over $1000 dollars.
The driver quickly readjusts their vehicle and continues to drive off the property in an attempt to avoid responsibility.
Unfortunately for this driver, this apartment community opted for the license plate recognition camera.
As the red sedan pulled out of the apartment community, the license plate data was captured.
The video retrieval team compiled the evidence and information, and delivered a clear and comprehensive video report to the property manager.
With the video evidence, this apartment community will be able to recoup and recover money for the gate repair.
