Our dispatchers were alerted to activity on a client’s construction site one evening, and to their surprise, they didn’t have to call the police…
they were already there!
It seems three individuals, suspected of armed robbery and auto-theft, crashed their stolen vehicle into the construction site fence and attempted to evade on foot, setting several officers, including a K-9 unit, on a high-stakes game of “cat and mouse”.
After searching for a period of time, two suspects were taken into custody.
The search for the third suspect continues, but hopefully he will be found soon. Sadly, the victim’s car that they stole is a total loss.
